There are two yellow wires with green stripe. You just need to be sure you cut the one that's coming from the speedo to the ecu. I cut mine over a year ago with no problems what so ever. It does come in handy when someone in a Mustang wants their ass handed to them..

Look on the VIN or some type of ID that would identify what transmission the car came with. That's IF the ECU is the original one. lol

According to my digital speedo on the old Two-Hundred and Forty es ex, mine cut out a 111mph.

dam this sux, ther were alot of races i was in where we were dead even untill 117mph
then there i goo lookin like i just slamed on my breaks while they keep pullin
wish i woulda known this

anyway my car (96 s14) cut out at 117 or 118 mph
i kno i passed the 115 mph mark
