Exclamation I have a F**kin newb question!!!

I know im probably gonna be beatin up in the halls for this but i have to ask. I just purchased a 93 vert and im looking at wheels. I am wondering what exactly is offset and what makes the wheels look like they are poping out of the fenders? please be gentle with my weak newb question. lol

In short, The offset is the distance from where the hub actually mounts to the wheel, to the center line of the wheel.

offset depends on the width and size of the wheel.

find the wheel of your choice with the available offset range.

go from there.

that would be wide wheels, low offset. Or if you're referring to mexican still "popping out of the fender" that would be not so wide wheels, with crazy ass negative offsets for no reason what so ever...
