You can buy an AM Ecu or have yours reflashed. Takes care of the problem.

I wonder if unplugging the speed sensor would trick the ecu. or would the ecu know the speed from another sensor?

Un plugging the speed sensor will trick it..But You loose ur speedo.

well you wouldnt know how fast you were going. Then again i guess it doesnt matter if your trying to go faster then 110.

I have auto ecu 5spd swap, raced my friend his car cut out at 130 i kept going

I'm not sure of the circuitry, but would it be possible to bypass the ECU and go to the speedo. Or does the computer calculate the speed and your SOL?

rumor has it the speed sensor wire goes to the gauge cluster before it goes to the ecu

which means you could have limiter delete AND a working cluster

I've got HUD and I really don't feel like tearing into that shit, but my dad's an electrician. So, just maybe. lol

All you have to do is cut the 5th gear speed sensor wire.

No side effects at all.

It will still limit your speed in 4th, but you can go as fast as you want n 5th.
