i shouldnt say best i should say choice.

so i had a gt2871r on my car. it blew up. ive been looking at the gt30's....with a

    Intake :4 inch
    Outlet: 2.5 inch
    Compressor trim: .70 ar
    Compressor Wheel diameter: 57.89 /72.95
    Turbine wheel diameter :46.75/ 53.80
    Exhaust trim: .86ar
    Turbine flange type: t25 flange
Downpipe flange type : 5 bolt
Cooling type: oil and water cool
    Horsepower rating: 300-480hp

my question is should i stay with a 2871r .64 on hot side not the .86 or should i go with the gt30. is the lag going to be that much to hurt me to try to stay in boost? like lets say for example i wanted to play in the small lot when im not drifting at turner. would it be to hard cause i have so much turbo lag. i was full boost on the 2871r at 3800 rpms. i do turner events, want to do banks.

    mods:
greddy stage 1 cams. stock intake, megan manifold, intercooler, etc

Gt30 has spool of t2 but it's top mount and capable of a lot more. Most pro cars are running gt30s. I know pat mordaunt is and so is matt powers on his Kat. Run midmount and no blow off and it will be the best Sr setup you could run!

You should have no problem sliding banks with a 2871. I know people who have slid banks at orlando, lanier, and cordele with a T28. I would say if you were to upgrade then a GT30 will be the way to go. I would definetly be weary of the 20g.

As long as you're rich, and there's tape holding your hood together, your turbo choices are pretty much flawless.
Seriously looking for Kouki side skirts, and maybe an S15 steering wheel... I hate the S14 wheel.

If you have S14 front mudflaps I'll take them. (I have rear.)

Also needs: Aftermarket (eBay) SR down pipe to hack on for my KA-T project. Flex section is fine, or not.
