SAME HERE as some might know i dont know shit about suspension.. i can work all day long on my body or engine but couldnt tell you one thing about my suspension. I put coilovers on my stock springs and im pretty sure i wasnt supose to..
yeah, good info
hey awesome info, but can someson post the pic. of each??![]()
I am looking to change my suspension by lowering it by apprx 2 inch. Coil overs I hear are the best way to go but i don't plan on changing it once i set it, so would I be better off just using shortend springs and shocks or go for the coilovers?
no spring/strut combination will you get you that low, as wheel/tire will rub on the strut.
Coilovers are the only option, plus you will need a djustable arms for alignment purposes..
and why would anyone need photos? its pretty self explanitory
Awesome post man.
nice write up
I'm running coil overs on my s13 hatch. It runs almost perfect.... The issue I am having is I am getting a lot of squeaking or thunk noise when I go over little dips or bumps.... It seems as if it is coming from the top part of my front coilovers, I wanna say its coming from the upper pillow bearing... Any advice?
