Good write ups guys... definately answered some of my questions... trying to learn as much as possible about suspension at the moment since my knowledge there is quite lacking.

I am looking to change my suspension by lowering it by apprx 2 inch. Coil overs I hear are the best way to go but i don't plan on changing it once i set it, so would I be better off just using shortend springs and shocks or go for the coilovers?

no spring/strut combination will you get you that low, as wheel/tire will rub on the strut.
Coilovers are the only option, plus you will need a djustable arms for alignment purposes..

and why would anyone need photos? its pretty self explanitory

    Awesome post man.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

I'm running coil overs on my s13 hatch. It runs almost perfect.... The issue I am having is I am getting a lot of squeaking or thunk noise when I go over little dips or bumps.... It seems as if it is coming from the top part of my front coilovers, I wanna say its coming from the upper pillow bearing... Any advice?

Wrong place for your question. But probably bad pillows, jack front of.the car up and pull upward on the tire and you'll see the movement
