All right, first off I'm deployed and have next to no time for researching a lot of my questions. I thought I'd just ask here and maybe get some good info. All right, I've decided that I want a 240. I still have thoughts of getting a supra but oh well. So what's the most popular engine? I hear a lot about the sr20 and that's what my friend has. Is that the superior engine? Nothing with more displacement? I have about 17k to spend and would like to have a very fast, sharp looking car. My goal is to have something between daily driver and a garage queen since I will have other transportation. I just wanna know what direction to look in I guess. I almost built a supraTT before so I'm adept with all the acronyms and how to turbo a car so don't talk to stupid to me lol. Hit me with your prefered build?

i wouldn't call it wasting. I'm not worried about the cash, I have more where that came from. But I can't decide which car to get lol. If I don't get a newer car then the only other older car that I will settle for is a supra.

    Get a skyline. Or a s15. 17 on a 240 is too much.

seriously man, if youve got 17k to spend and youre set on a "240" dump at least 15k into a badass car.

if i had 10k right now, id probably buy an e36 bmw m3 or 328i

if i had 20k right now id probably get an e39 bmw m5

if i had 3k right now id get an s14

if i had 1.5k right now id buy an s13

    see where im comming from?
youll be much MUCH happier with a really awesome chassis and some nice mods.

plus an s15 is super badass. aftermarket support is just as good as the other s chassis cars and its definately an eye turner

and youll have plenty of leghumpers.

people are less likely to jack your shit because its rare and half of atlanta will be eyein your car out for you if it goes missing lol.
