I need to buy a new car because I'm tired of my 240. For months (max 3) it will be ok then something will happen and when I start my new career I wont have time to fix it on top of driving from Pensacola, FL to Marietta, Ga on Holidays and so on.

So I'm going to buy a new car after all of my training is finished with.

    2009 Mitsubishi Lancer
    2005 Subaru STi (Flips)
2008 Subaru 2.5i Special Edition (not only interested because of "Special Edition")

This list goes from high interest to low interest (not rates)

    car payments ftl

you will regret having to pay for a brand new car

buying a car is the worst invest with the way the economy is going right now

plus you have to have full cover insurance and with your age and those cars its going to be high

    Maybe then a Subaru SVX?

I'll be living on base so I will only have my credit card to pay and if I put a down payment of 5K on a new car my car payments will be nothing but my car insurance will still be high.

That's the problem I'd still like to have a fun car. The 09 Lancer runs at 12-13K and gets 30mpg. If I were to put 4-5K down payment on it my car payment would be nothing like 110+ give or take a little a month. Car insurance I need to get a quote on.

The same thing applies with Flips car just a little higher payments.

VS keeping my 240 and buying a motor mount, having someone put it in, new paint job, realign the piston rings so I can stop burning oil and so on.

I would never rock an Evo. I like gearboxes that can handle abuse.

I don't know and don't care if they solved that shatter on launch issue... I had a mitsu once (4G63, SOHC), destroyed it repeatedly, and will never drive one again.

If you've got the money to deal afford any of those cars, get the WRX my friend is selling. He wants a 240. It's modded... if you want info I can get it. $16K I know that much...

I would go with Subaru for reliability... over Evo... but my money would be on a Bimmer for that kind of cash... I'd be picking up an E39 with a 4.0 and a 6 speed.
Seriously looking for Kouki side skirts, and maybe an S15 steering wheel... I hate the S14 wheel.

If you have S14 front mudflaps I'll take them. (I have rear.)

Also needs: Aftermarket (eBay) SR down pipe to hack on for my KA-T project. Flex section is fine, or not.
