okay, a chick friend of mine has an s14 and her drivers wheel will move backward toward the rear of the car when she brakes and then jump back forward when she lets off the brakes. i think its the tension rod joint... the tire moves a good 2 - 3 inches ... it worries me that shes driving
ive got 4 spare tension rods. do yall guys think thats what this is?
i havent been under her car to look adn when i first saw it i didnt know what was wrong becasue i didnt know 240's well enough

holly crap...common... then the car needs to be on a lift or inspected immediately, and tell her to stop drving it..its life or death here.if something moves this violently, you can tell right away when you look at it .

    good luck.

She has to drive? Thats the stupidest thing I've ever heard. She'll drive right into a damn tree if anything else breaks.

Tell her to use common sense, and replace the broken part.
