Posting from my iPhone so sorry if it's misspelled or anything.

S14 sr, stock engine with front mount and 255 fuel pump.

Ok so I'm driving to work yesterday and it starts to run on 3 cylinders, i pulled over, checked for ignition misfire and found the #3 coil connector to be at fault. (unplugged it, no difference, plugged it back in and it ran like it should)
Got to work fine with no problems after that.
On the way home I got it up to 6k rpm under load and it fell on it's face, like there was 0 spark or something. It got progressively worse on the way home, breaking up @4.5krpm by the end. I let it sit overnight and on the way to work it did the same thing with the same fix 3 more times... But only broke up right before it started to run on 3cyls...

I'm thinking it's a bad coil, but I have no way to scope it, anyone have any ideas?

There was some build up. No signs of oil anywhere. It doesn't smoke one bit, it runs fine it just shakes a little at idle. This car is my dd so I need to know what to do to save the motor before getting it fixed. Should I unlplug the injector? coilpack? I want to get around to taking off the vc to check valves. Can anyone help me?

car = 92 S13 w/ sr20det (red top)
1st question
i am trying to set the timing right now, and everywhere i can find is saying that it needs to be at 15* BTDC.
when i put it on that mark, it idles at about 1350 RPM's.
Any info on that?

2nd Question
I am installing 550cc injectors with a z32 MAFS, and a ECU tuned by enthalpy. (made for the 550's and the z32 MAFS)
will i have to re-set timing after i install these?

I went to drive my 240 yesterday, but something odd started happening. Unless I have the gas pedal to the floor, it's as if I'm not pushing it at all. So basically I can either go 90-100% throttle, or nothing at all.

When in neutral I can hold the gas pedal down about 10% and the RPMs will slowly rise to about 2500, and then drop back down to 1000, then back up to 2500..

It just started doing this yesterday. Last weekend I drove the car from Flowery Branch, to Atlanta, then to Athens, then back to Atlanta with no problems.

I'm wondering if it's a problem the Z32 MAF. Anybody have any ideas?
