Ok so tthis is what happenedI bought my motor from jazzproparts.com because i heard so decent things about them but I got F***ed , first i ordered my s14 Sr and a MAF and Ignitor my total came to about $2800 and they had a free shipping deal on orders over $100 or something like that. Anyway I got my motor in bout 3 weeks later and http://images.nicoclub.com/forums/images/smilies/wtf.gif no MAF or ignitor I talked to the guy there a few times he told me it would be a month or so till he could even get the parts, I told him just to refund it and I'd get it from someone eles (NEVER HAPPENED) I never got a $300 refund for it. Then after getting the parts from heavy throttle ( Jeff is awesome I recomend heavy throttle 110%) and i got the car running we notice that the turbo bearing is shot and it's too expensive to get it re-built in memphis and I don't know how to, so it took bout a month to find an affordable turbo (s15 t28) for $300 from a friend then we got it running again and GUESS WHAT??? IT'S GOT A DAMN ROD-KNOCKING ..........................
on top of that now i cant get in touch with them to get it fixed cuz it was warrentied none of the phone numbers work or e-mail adresses and the never returned my fax. So my car is yet again sitting and we're trying to get something done about it ( one of my dad's friends is in texas where there based and he's gonna go by and try to get something done)

So this is the BS of jazzpro don't buy **** from them usless you want bad things to happen I hope you can avoid something with this warning and the story of how f'ed i am cuz i'm 18 and work at Kroger ( $6.90/hr under $100 a week) and I can't afford anything cuz I'm still in debt for the purchase http://images.nicoclub.com/forums/images/smilies/bash.gif

Yea JHOT is good.

And to the op, sucks about your situation, but it definitely pays off to do a ton of research before you buy something as expensive as a motor set.

Hope you get everything figured out.

because people with money don't moan after something like that. They just go ahead and buy another motor. =\

psh. go take some prozac!:p if he is getting himself into debt for an SR just because (as in it wasnt a necessity), then i feel no pity for him. but if he saved up for it, then i was gonna commend him for being responsible.

I agree. rich people don't stay rich by laying down when they get screwed... they'd probably just sue your ass. Rich or poor doesn't matter... the principle still applies.

I just don't see why it matters how he got it. The point of this thread is that he got screwed. Who cares about his finances?

that is just stupid. Have you never gotten a loan for anything? Wouldn't you be pissed if you bought something and it turned out to be crap? I didn't have the money for my house when I bought it, but I was a little miffed when the AC unit went out the very next summer, are you going to tell me I shouldn't care because I didn't pay cash for my house? think about it for a minute.

guess we'll have to agree to disagree... My SR was bought on a credit card... but I so would have been pissed if it had been blown. It runs sweetly though!

I thought I posted about JazzProparts.com here, but guess I missed this forum. I know I did on many others.

They screwed me big, twice.

The worst was on an R34 RB26 motorset. I sent the money, got an R33 RB26, no trans, starter, intake, MAF, or ECM. When I called he gave me this BS about me not needing the RB26 tranny, not even knowing what I was doing with the motor. I told him I wanted the tranny I paid for, and he could just refund the difference in prices of the R34 and R33 motors since I could use the R33 RB26 anyways. He wouldn't. He offered me a tranny and $100, which was nowhere near the difference in price. Long story short, I never saw the tranny or the money.

Don't buy from jazz pro parts. They may have good dealings with some, but they have proven many times that thier service blows and that when there's a problem they are not willing to fix it. Serch them on other forums, I have seen numerous posts from people they have screwed.

Getting screwed over sux no matter your financial situation.
A little research goes a long way in finding out about a company.
When you do have a problem, bring it to their attention quickly and professionally.
Look at their warranty requirements too. Sometimes a company will offer you a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but there are so many things that you have to do or have, that you may not be able to fulfill them.
If you think they are screwing you, then find out your legal options. If you have to take them to court, then do it. More than likely, they will try to resolve the issue without having to go to court. But if you just make whiney phone calls and cry to them, they won't give you much respect, and you won't get results.
OP, I urge you to go to the Magistrate's court in your county and file a civil suite against them. I think it is like $40 to do this. If you can prove that they have done you wrong, then you will get your money or a new motor plus any cost you incurred to make that happen.
I'm not a big fan of taking people to court, especially in todays "sue happy" society. But if there ever was a legitimate claim, this is.
All too often, people let things go and another company, or individual gets away with stealing from someone.
A friend of mine works for an insurance group. He told me that an insurance company will spend $20,000 to keep from paying a $10,000 claim. Sounds stupid I know, but if they don't, they may have to pay many more of those $10k claims, adding up to much more.
Bottom line.... Do everything in your power to get resolution.

why knock him? he had a bad experience and he shared it. Always good to get a point of view from everyone.

wasnt intended to knock on him.

i was adding to his experiences.
i know him personally and i cant say anything distraught about his business as i have spoken to him about it before. but i wont recommend him if someone asks.

his motors come from canada, and he doesnt even see most of the motors that you get, and he doesnt know the conditions of them. didnt you see a canadian tag when it was shipped to you, maybe also saying osaka or? or something like that? Canadian junk yards.
