What are some good degreasers I can use to clean a disassembled motor?

Kerosene is suppose to be real good, it has a lot of detergents in it
i used it to clean a disassemble 13b stuff worked great but smelled horrible

simple green is corrosive to aluminum.. dont use it

so is purple power, but thats why there is a list of concentrations on the back, if you let it sit on the part for hours then your in trouble, wash it off, good to go.

I use purple power.
Spray on, let it sit for a minute, wash it off.

So...I got a huge ass bottle of Purple Power and Advance has buy one get one free brake cleaner. ;)
Today is parts cleaning day woohoo.

Brake cleaner is too damn high to be using as a parts cleaner. I use Naptha or a spray on degreaser.

A gallon of naptha is like $7. It lasts a long time too, pretty powerful stuff.

I think it is better. It is just a slow evaporating paint thinner, it 's a good degreaaser that doesn't dry up the second it hits the atmosphere.
