Played tag with an E55

Alright, i didnt put this in kills cos technically i didnt kill anything, lol

so i was headed up 400N around 9:30 somewhere near holcomb bridge
i was in the porsche, in the left lane doing around 85-90... clearly passing every other car on the road when i notice a set of mercedes-esque headlights approaching.

they guy gets maybe 4-5 ft off of my ass... so i gear down and see how bad he wants to play... at around 125 he is still behind me but traffic is coming up.
so i slow down, and once traffic clears i let him get in front...
we do a steady 135-140 all the way down the highway, till he merges over 2 lanes and slows down again..

i pull over in the lane next to him and pace him... he looks at me, shakes his head no and gives me the thumbs up.... i guess for playing with him?? lol

so he bitched out, but it was fun nonetheless

E55's haul freaking ace. A good friend of mine has one, its def a fun car to play with. Dyno mode, dynamic seats, it has all kinds of cool features.

my buddy in FL builds kits for these cars... so it wont take too long..
just cant afford to have 2 cars down
its not too bad, only has 45k on it.

just trying to figure out what to do suspension/wheel wise.
choices are limited in the wheel dept. because of the gay bolt pattern

my 240 is faster than the boxster.... but thats not what the porsche is about.

germans have a different attention to detail in building a car. i'm sure there are plenty of 240s that are fast as balls and even stock ones aren't too shabby. they're just way different.

although whoever designed the rear subframe on the boxster needs to be shot....

to drain the tranny fluid you have to pull the rear subframe supports off... because the skidplate is sandwiched between them and the car... and it just so happens they bolt to the jack points for the car... so when you put it on a lift.... well yea. you get the point

That is so you will have to pay a porsche tech to do it for you which means they get more $$$...

I truely... truely truely doubt that. OEM power ratings on most cars, especially luxury, has gone up quite a bit over the years... and I swear more than 10% of cars on the road are FI'd. Not taking anything away from your Porsche... but that is quite a bold statement to make. =D

Just depends are what time of day most of the time...

I usually dont have any problems with people wanting to run all the way up to 120 - 130 at night time. I wouldnt want to take my sentra up past about there cas it starts felling alil floaty at 130ish.
