another big problem discovered

ok guys i was driving this time and some ricer dude comes riding up my ass for no reason my cars completey stock except for the rims and he went to do a fly by so i slamed the gas to the floor in 3rd gear and at about 4500 rpm somthing happened the rpms dropped to about 500 and i released the gas and coasted i neutral but when i stepped on the gas it would bogg out while in nuetral. so i parked it on side of road and my dad came and told me that he messed with wires like spark plug,distributor, and some other ones and he got it started but he has to make it idle at like 2000 rpm to keep it from stalling anyone no whats wrong??
