Pulling off 14 year old hoses is a biggity bitch.
Any advice on that? Or should I slice them all? *None in specific. I keep runing into pain in the ass hoses.*

I'd slice the ends and peel em off like you said... If theyre brittle its time to replace them anyway.

And yeah i hate that when i come home and the back of my head is a cake of oil :(.
