the sad part is, we are both friends with the guy you sold them to shawn lol, but its all good, 500 bucks for decent suspension, its adjustable, a little bouncy but they look nice and he likes them.

500$ is a good price for those! They weren't horrible and they were leaps and bounds better than stock. Just after I rode on megans I knew K-sports were sub par.

I think it's awesome how little most people know about coilovers.

And let's be honest.. aren't there only a couple pro drifters on this site? The rest of us will be fine with pretty much anything, as long as they will hold up. Dorimon seems to be one of the more active amateur drifters on the site and he says he loves his MR coilovers. Jumping into a car with all the really nice parts isn't going to make you a more skillful driver.

From what I've seen and heard, MR coilovers are great for our needs and are pretty durable. Change out the springs if you want a different feel.

You are correct sir. Most people here wouldn't even feel a difference between the Megans and anything better. I was fully content with my eibachs and kyb's until i started trying to drift 3rd gear. I noticed need for something better at that point. Most others wouldn't.

Hey, Sammy drifts on the Megans and likes them. I'm running the same stiffness setting as him and really like it so far. The only thing that would make me change them for a long time is reliability and I see no problems there...

uber bouncy, impossible to level out the dampening...... uber shitty ride once u slam on them..but on a good note every dumb ass that says the blow real easy CAN'T DRIVE. I've driven all of ohio, hit dam near every pot whole, and they are still holding strong

I agree they were good and fine for drifting....


but the megans seem better suited for dailying and drifting. Better damper settings, beefier welds, beefier struts, better materials......



It's all personal pref. when its said and done as with all things in drifting.

his must have been the old ones and they must have been messed up or something. If you go to the Cordele event ride with me and tell me if they are the same or different. I have no problem with mine at all they are great

I believe the ones I had were the old models. Who knows they were only on my car for a few months before I swapped em out. And that was a while ago to. They probably would be better with new springs too.

apexi is not adjustable, while megans are, and the apexis are kinda sloppy, although do their job. Megans are cheaper and better, so Apexis are a nononononono

your 240sx is the best handling car in its class or under 35k offered that same year. that speaks alot.

the suspension system is the same as a porsche that year and actually outperformed the 984 or whatever it is at testing.


we are now replacing it with wholesome goodness because i and we, cant afford to modify, cut and fabricate a nice 2008 ferrarri....

so these are our toys.
