Alright well i was bored after work, and decided to polish my headlights cuz they looked like piss.

well i only got 1 done. but i have some sweet shots during the progress. and just thought id like to share.

Another method I have seen, although I am unsure of long term effects, is using Mother's wheel polish (the red stuff).

My friend back in England did this on his Integra and it worked QUITE well.

i dremeled mine for an hour with a polishing tool

im getting a drill polishing tool tomorrow and will redo it with that.

and touchup with my dremel tool :)

Nice job! They look great.

If anyone is interested, I have all the stuff to polish plastic and metal. I have polishing compounds and buffing wheels, 2 low speed and 2 high speed buffers. I've done a few motorcycle fairings with excellent results. PM me if you are interested.

they look really good casey! what grit paper did you use (i thought it said 1000, but its hard to tell from the pic)--i have to do mine to get all of that overspray off :(

put them in the oven so the seal melts and pull them apart and then clean

Yea, you really put them in the oven and heat them up.

You just have to get the seal soft enough to be able to pull apart.

no doubt guy, your job looks damn good. infact when i buy another s14 i may try your method. you may acually could make some $$ that way... nothin much, but extra pocket change. get lights from junk yards, polish or do what you do.. then ebay/forums.
