you need the pump and lines, and the belt to go onto the pump i believe that is it, but im sure everyone else will chime in. good luck :D power steering FTW

well the reason u don't have power steering is because whoever had ur car before u took off the resivoir and all the hoses and stuff. So u would have to start from there. But if u have a power steering pump on your motor then that should be about it. Unless they completely got rid of the whole system on ur car then ur gonna need new lines and stuff to

The car was stripped of p/s before he got it, so yeah Trey you'd have to get the resevoir, lines, etc...
Power steering is overrated, unless you have a 4000lb car... :ninja:

Or a DD that must have all creature comforts like mine, haha.
Did the previous owner remove the lines going to the steering box? If so, were they plugged?
Pics would help so we can determine exactly what you need as far as lines are concerned.

The car used to be Bruce's, but I can't remember exactly how he removed everything.
I drove my old mk3 without power steering. I got some pretty good muscle from it too, lol.

power steering is so nice if you're used to it and hop into a car without it. mine's leaking right now and i need to get it fixed. but getting around in parking lots and slow areas is so much easier with some help.

Yeah I didn't have powersteering for a while and would try sliding it like that. After getting it working I definetely had an appreciation for it. It makes driving the car less of a strenght training exercise. lol

check if you still have the powersteering hardlines.. if its still hooked up, then you'll just need the pump + belt + pressure line+ return line + reservoir + fluid. gl, powersteering is awesome!

If you plan on drifting you will want it for sure!
I love power steering. I have had cars without it and that was cool in a straight line but for everything else it sucked!
