I heard you could use an alternator from nissan quests to get more amps. It had to be a certain year and size I was curious if anyone had heard about it and /or tried it. I bought one off a newly wrecked car in the junkyard near me to give it a try but I have so much more work to do before I can test it out. The only difference is drilling out the wire connector to fit over a bolt and the belt only utilizes 3 of the 4 threads on the pulley. And I found this at Nico-
nissan quest '96-98
Villager '95 from 3/95
Villager '96-97
Villager '98 through 1/5/98

No need drilling the connector. Take a connector of the Quest and swap it out. Or buy a new connector.
But quite honestly, unless you got a big sound system, there is no point.

I already picked it up for $30 any ways, so I am going to utilize it. It wasn't the connector that needed drilling out, I messed up, it was the mounting holes. Thanks for the feedback.
