how am i going to help you out when i am a fool?
and how am i going to tell you its a nismo or not?
all clutch diff's look almost alike.
if i see it without opening it, i can tell you its a 1.5 or a 2 way.
also right off the bet i can only tell u if its a clutch type or not.
thats pretty much it.
what does the viscous pic have anything to do with your nismo 2 way?? lol

we are swapping diffs
2-way for 2-way
we jsut want to know if his is a 2-way diff and not your basic VLSD diff, thas all
shawn shawn
02-04-2008, 09:14 PM
Keep your 2 way and he keeps his 2 way?
Why would you want to swap for the same thing?

you can tell by looking at how the notches are designed.

just take it off like others said and examine it.
take it to dave or someone.
sheesh. how are people going to see what kind of lsd it is only by pictures, when it's covered in oil and can't see the entire thing?!

then take it to your nearest performance shop that knows something about japanese lsds.
you're not going to get an answer on the forums, even on zilvia.
they're only guessing.

This is how to tell if your diff is a 2-way or not. I better get some reps for this.

you act like it was a stupid idea to post a pic.
ill answer you this way, we are about 4 hrs from anyone that has a clue abouw what this diff might be, no performance shops, nothing.
Which answers your questiona bout taking it to Dave.
Then, you CAN see the diff, who cares if its coverd in oil, if you had a Nismo 2 way you would be able to spot it with the picture posted. Thats what we were trying to get, someone that has that diff, it can only be one of a few diffs anyways.

I think Joey might have been ripped off. The inside of this diff looks nothing like the other clutch diffs i have seen.
