Ask AFsil80, he will answer any questions you have. He worships the CA.
Yeah just ask Slobusa. Damn North Dakota...well atleast you don't have to worry about the cops when you start to burn rubber.

bottom line, it's not much different than an sr swap as far as wiring and grunt work, just make sure you have the drop resistor for the injectors with your motorset or you will have to get creative =]

NICO.
All the information that you need about ca18det. I'm on there at least two hours a day. JUst make sure you have extra set of Crank Angle Sensor as those get broken out of the blue. Other than that one incident of the CAS breaking at barneville, the motor's been good so far.

^ I've got a personal petition against NICO.
I hate how you can't go back and look at posts older than 2 months. Long story short, I spent $200 on a harness with extended MAF wires. I got a harness with multiple cut wires and shoddy workmanship (extended wires were exposed). I got screwed on my harness and I had no way of posting up the guys name. He had 3 seperate emails, all with different names.
I've got the basics down on wiring, and I was able to figure out where and what needed repairing. Chad (slip n slide S14) will tell you how pissed I was.
ON TOPIC:
Make sure you also have an ignitor pack. I didnt' get one with my swap, probably because my swap didn't have a wiring harness with it either thanks to America's Hat. (Canada).
Feel free to post up pics of EVERYTHING you get when your swap arrives. I'll be willing to check over the pics to see if anything obvious is missing (about all I'm good for, haha) and I'm sure others are willing to help as well.
GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!
whenever you wanna see a running ca18det and see where everything's supposed to hook up to, just let me know.
