my dilemma

ok, this really sucks and most of you will think im a dumbass, or just crazy


ok for those of you that dont know me i am 15..

I had a black Suzuki DRZ400 SM, its a streetlegal supermoto bike for those of you who dont know..

ok well I rode it everywhere WITHOUT a license and did wheelies and all sorts of stuff, cuz its fun and i didnt care, i thought as long as i rode fine on the street i would be fine.. well that went on for lets see... 10 months and in JUNE of last year i got pulled over..


i was turning on to brushy forks road off of old loganville road in Loganville.

as i turned on to that road i poped a wheelie, a gwinnett county special ops car saw me, i didnt see him, and he followed me, i was then doing 70 mph in a 40 while on 1 wheel for most of the time...


he pulled me over and i was like shit shit shit what do i do, i gotta run, but i didnt, i couldve easily outran him, but i got scared and stopped.. that wouldve been worse anyway..


he asked for my license and i gave him my drivers permit for a car..

i got:

a speeding ticket- 30mph over
wreckless driving
violation of instructional permit..

3 tickets in total, he impounded my bike and took me home..





i just got my court date and it is tomorrow!! 3/13/07

im screwed..


i have a few things in my favor though..

i sold the bike, i took drivers education, and i live with my grandparents by the way and they let me ride it on the street and they are going to tell the court that to help me out, but it might get them in trouble, i told them not to but they are anyway... to help me out..

im thinking im not gonna get my license for a while, im supposed to get it on MAY 4th but thats not gonna happen

also im gonna have to pay for the tickets, and possibly take a class..

that sucks real bad but um sometimes the court is nice sometimes they arent
you are old enough to have a M license instructional permit sooo... they might give you a break. but i dunno...

lol I have a court date on the 27th of this month for a 49 over in a work zone so I feel ya...

That sucks man... You're really lucky that you're so young and don't have to do jail time... No idea what to tell ya how to handle this one.

i went to court today and it was pretty bad...


they dropped my reckless driving ticket.


it was real court i had to stand before the judge in a real court room and everything, it was kinda scary..


well i cant get my license for 6 months (till september)

i paid 319$ for the fines and court cost..


i have to take a defensive driving class, and a traffic class before i can get my license..

and i have to pay to get my license reinstated and pay for the classes..



so if ur messing around in ur car or bike or whatever u might wanna stop, they r strict...

they told me 20mph over is mandatory 6 months suspension of ur license and u gotta take classes to get it back

You still got off light in my opinion. They could have imposed bigger fines and had they not dropped the reckless driving you'd really be taking it in the pooper.

oh hell yea man, im so glad its over, well... i still have to take those 2 classes.. but the traffic school is at the court house on april 7th and its only a couple hours.. and i have to go somewhere for defensive driving on my own.

6 month really isnt that bad, right? ive already been waiting all this time to get my license anyway but now i have to wait even longer.. but i was lucky, they couldve easily made me wait till i was 18 and that wouldve sucked!

yea man, this taught me a lesson.. drifting and doing wheelies (reckless driving) on the street is really not worth it.. its fun but paying for it sucks!

that's not too bad man. considerring 6 mons over 3 years without a license, no comm service, and a no probation. but just a word of advice, once they bust you (get you in their systems) it is a hard way to get out. I know from experience. so when you do get your license, please don't drive like a jackass adn save the stunts for the track.

i just read this thread.... but u actually could have had it alot worse. everything happens for a reason man so take this in insight of what could happen next time.
