Yah just what it says... I'm considering getting some aftermarket wheel studs since I have a welded diff... Any input?

stock studs are weakened with all of the miles on them. so when you weld the diff all of the stress is placed on the axles and wheels... and guess what holds the wheels to the car... wheel studs. i've seen welded diff's snap wheel studs clean in half... turbo dave had 5 snap on him at one time while turning onto 75... off went the wheel

In the past, I've used 1st generation RX7 studs in my Zs. They are longer and just a tiny bit larger but can easily be forced into the Z holes. I wouldn't think there would be any or much difference since the Z, 200sx,and 1200 all use the same lugs. On further thought, they were all a lot older also, so you might want to call the dealership and ask them if the lugs will interchange. Oh yeah, the RX7 lugs could handle 420whp without breaking, and were cheaper at the dealer than aftermarket bolts that were comparable.

I would say it's pointless, but if you must you can get the size, call arp, and they can get you whatever you want. I think wheel studs break more people people over torque them, more so than milage on the car.
