How did you get your nickname?

Its story time. How did you get your nickname?

I will start,

One time at band camp,





















They were calling roll and the drum major called my name out and paused for a sec, then got out a pen and scratched out my first name. He said over the mic, you arent Zack anymore you are Duke Nukem. From that day forth, I have been known as Duke. I would guess most of the people that knew me in high school didnt really know my real name unless they were close friends.

My name is matthew.... though i guess matt for short would be a nickname?... i dunno who the first lazy bastard was to call me that but it stuck.

Mine is Flip it comes from philip... A good friend at church when I was like 9 or so started callin me flip... When she did, it caught on...

Well... I have many nicknames: ninjahobo, armani, dre, ect...
but in any case, I was called dre because my family members were lazy and Dr. Dre was hot at the time... you get the picture.
I got the nickname armani from a hat I was wearing, and you know how people make stuff up... "you look like an armani with that hat on..." so thats how I got that one...
And I got the nickname ninjahobo for a few reasons... first, I was on the track team at my school and I was pretty fast, so whenever I disappeared somewhere, people said that I pulled a ninja. Then the hobo part comes from a language arts teacher in high school. We were doing some grammar practice and we were making up sentences and it just so happened that most of my sentences were about hobos and whatnot. So my teacher thinks it'll be funny if the class refers to me as hobo. And for some reason it stuck, so instead of having mutiple nicknames, I condensed it to ninjahobo.

A pic of me on my bike less than 8 hours after I hit a car doing 70mph (sherrif estimate) while I was on the back tire (being stupid) showing off in panama. I was thrown over 100 ft., no gear other than helmet. Bike was destroyed. Hit so hard the front wheel went through the header and busted the engine casings. Walked away with a LOT of road rash and a dislocated shoulder.

My close friends say I have screwy luck.

Bad luck when it comes to wrecks and disaster, but great luck when it comes to injuries.

I think its leaving me though, I broke my collar bone a few months back on my GSXR. The irony is that I was going slow and highsided. Friends were picking on me for having many high speed wrecks without breaking anything, but then breaking my collar bone going less than 20mph.

I must be getting old, lol.
