Hope to see some other 240sx guys there, I have been to this event when it was a Z oriented gathering about 5 times. Great people, and a good place to get your feet wet at the track (nobody is gonna call you out for newb mistakes).

It's gonna be 3 hours of test & tune and then if you want to you can sign up for the competition using your time slips to get in the right elimination ladder, BUT, you can still run test & tune between the competition ladders.

This is the first time that they're doing the competition thing, so there might be some little quirks to work out, but everybody will have plenty of time to race all day long, they're just going to be running some organized pairs for purse money also.

Bring all your buddies with you and their 240SX's and see who has the fastest car during the test & tune, then pay the $25 buy in for the competition and try to take home more money than you went there with. Where else can you run your car as fast as you want to, LEGALLY?

We will find out, I have only been to the track once with this car and the results were less then great LOL.

God awful tune, slipping clutch, and street tires.

You guys who are driving down should plan on being there early! You will make your best runs when its cooler in the morning.

Also, they are running a big show the night before so the track prep should be second to none!

Just a quick note, pre-registration for this event is currently scheduled to close on March 1st. Time is getting short to get your name in for a competitive racing spot.

Pre-registration is NOT required, but it would be greatly appreciated if you know that you're going to be attending. Pre-registration helps us pay for things like trophies and other expenses related to putting the event together. It also helps us to get the database together and orgranize the competitive racers so we'll know who is coming and in what class they'll be running. We're all volunteers, so the more time we have to do things, the better.

NO money is kept by the event coordinators, it is all given back to the attendees in one form or another, either through trophies, competition payouts or cash awards for different things like best in show, most highly modified car, etc.

So think about it and if you're sure you're coming, please think about pre-registering. It'll also save you $5.00 off of your tech pass, which you'll be required to buy should you decide to do more than just spectate.
