Whoops...

So Dan and I were heading to UPS to pick up the new clutch for the STi... Car started making some noise and the whole right rear dropped to the ground. Right away I pulled over 2 lanes to the right and made a right hand turn into a parking lot. When I turned right the right rear wheel came off and rolled into the grass on the corner. I pulled into a spot to find this...

Just so happens I have an entire rear suspension with new bushings and all my tools in my trunk so we fixed it right there... Of course we walked across the street and got some BBQ first tho ;).

Turns out I broke off all 4 studs. Not positive the exact cause but the only thing I can figure is that last time i had people help work on the car, someone overlooked tightening the lugs correctly the last time it went on or something similar...

On a brighter note, the new engine mounts feel GREAT with the tranny mount... So much fun to drive...

We actually thought it was really funny :). I was planning on replacing the rear suspension anywho so...
