I had j30 axles with j30 vlsd on my s13 before, they worked fine but when I took it out when the car had front damage, one of the axles were bad. People have been saying that j30 axles are bit too long for S13. So I guess the best is to use the 180sx 5 bolts. But again they cost quite some money...

As long as you use them on the appropriate side, they work just fine.

I believe it is 93 and down that have the 5 bolt, the newer ones are 6 bolt. Keep an eye out on pull apart you can get both for $62 and change with tax.

I went 2 pull apart part the other day wit my buddies and they had 2 j30's there and the LSD was already pulled out. and they just got them in. I heard from other people P.A.P takes them off as soon as they get them in and sell them for like 300 bucks

I just went to a PAP two days ago. Pulled out the diff, then in the end decided I didn't want it. Tossed it aside, went back to get it today.. It was in the crusher. LoL..

i've seen the axles and diff's at the buford highway pull-a-part a few times. i was always surprised they were still there but too lazy to pull it myself and sell it.

I went once..
to get j30 diff/axles..

I didnt have the right tools and the shitter wouldn't budge,
so I left it to get it the next day I'm off.

and it was gone.

I did most the hard work on it like taking axles out, unbolting them and shit..
I just needed to un-do the DS bolts, but it wouldn't budge :(

I think that one was 6bolt, iirc.
