diff install problems please help

ok im putting a 300zx diff into my s13. the back of the stock diff has 4 bolts the 300 on has only 2. my ? is will the two even fit through the holes they slide through befor you can bolt them in?

if your talking about the back plate that has the bolts in it that go into the subframe, then all you have to do is put your 240 plate on the 300 diff.

its viscus and able to handle over 300whp, its a better diff lol.

isn't the gear ratio slightly different? Slightly greater final ratio?

slightly different. i think 300zx is longer.
all you have to do is change out the diff cover.

yay got a gasket after driving to everystore. now going to put it on.

I did this. Drain the diff oil, take off the back plate, use the S13 diff back plate with gasket, bolt those bolts back on, put it back into your car.

From what I can remember,

Z32 TT final drive 3.7?:1
Z32 NA final drive 4.??:1
S13 final drive 4.1?:1

So I think you are close enough.
