i have a chance to buy a JDM s13 VLSD from a certain member off zilvia..

he is selling just the carrier (part the ring gear bolts to) without the housing (pumpkin)

will the JDM diff fit/work, in/with my USDM pumpkin ??

does anyone know ??

Im pretty sure if its all the guts, then it would work, seeing that you can throw a Kaaz or something in a stock pumpking. Although, I've always been under the impression that setting a rear end up right is not the easiest task.

But, Ive always also been under the impression that VLSD output shafts and open diff output shafts are different as well, so, they may not work with the JDM innards.

I've never tested them either way, but, from what I've read they are different.

According to the Courtesy Parts website, the output shafts on LSD and open diff units are different, on an S14. Im assuming that goes for all 240's
