Eh I like my RX-7 better than the S13, but it's not hard to do one. Well at least it wasn't on a lift.

A G54B from a Starion or any RWD 4g series mitsu block bolts strait to the RX7 tranny or hell do a V8 swap.

The hardest part of doing a tranny on the ground is getting to the top bolts of the bell housing the rest is gravey and even the bell housing bolts are gravey if you have the right tools.

if u have a lift, its not that much of a hassle.
if u dont, standard jack stands means u'll be under the car for awhile...very tiring to work on your back.
if you are not lazy, pull the whole engine+tranny out and work on it when its out much easier that way, just time consuming.

A clutch itsself can run anywhere from about $100-___, depending on the clutch you choose.

Exedy OEM replacements are on ebay for about $120 shipped

35 bucks. auto zone.

easy. shifter off, drive shaft off... fluids drained. all 14 mm bolts. losen motor mounts, exhuast move to one side... yank the tranny down to losen top bolts.. slave cylinder off and drop the tranny...

make sure you replace TOB while you at it. good luck.

Also, might as well do the pilot bearing while you're at it

Its cake. Especially with either a lift or a friend to help you. Stabbing them can be a hassle.

This is an easy job. If you have to do it on your back like I had to then I recommend two people. The hardest part is the top center trans bolt, what a pain. One way I gave myself more clearance was to lower the subframe the length of the subframe bolts. The trans fit pretty tightly in the tunnel.

Put it up as high as possible on jack stands. I do it front and rear.
Then loosen the motor mounts like v-empire said, and that will give you access to the top bell housing bolts.
This really is an easy job that most folks with a little bit of mechanical skill can do. Get a Haynes or Chilton repair manual for your car, and it will give you a step by step of every part and component removal.
Good luck.
