Haha Ya true

Why spend 2 grand for a set of rays when you can build that KA-T

I think he does have his priorities in order.

Probably ~400 hp and hes rockin stock 16 inch SE's
Hell Ya!

haha, yeah rims shouldn't be the first thing that you upgrade but then again those rims weren't working too well for me at around that power level.

Well even though they may not look bad ass. I would suggest he gets z32 wheels for the time being, Because they are actually functional in the way there were designed to deflect the air onto the brakes

proably not. 20lbs bye what 4k maybe less depending on exhaust manifold cams and intake. possibly 3,800. various ka dyno sheets show full boost on decent size turbos around 3,800 to 4k.

True, but I am comparing it to all motor apps and\or SC apps where you have power most of the way through your rpm range. When\if I boost my car I want boost yesterday, I want full boost at about 2000 - 2500.

problem with having power so low in the power band is you will ultimatly run out of turbo on the top end. plus the fact u will be in and out of boost basically 90 percent of the time if not more which in return will kill your fuel mileage.

sorta why a t3/to4e 50ar is idea on most applications. full boost at 3k will pull all the way thru the power band yet let u cruise around without to much wear and tear on your setup.
or in the sr work a gt2871r. 68 ar. they dont get full boost till almost 4k but its a liniar turbo. where it is in boost from 2k up till 3,800rpms. but falls of around 8k. its not like a big turbo with a on/off switch.

True, but with the type of driving I do when I am beating on my car I am going to want a setup that hits boost in low rpm because I am not going to be going very fast on the top end. I am more concerned with bottom end accl. than I am top speed\top end accl.

The wear and tear on my setup would be one of the reasons why I wouldnt boost my car because of the performances needs that I have in combo that I dont have another car to drive at the moment.

I would prolly need to fiddle with it to find what makes me all the way happy, but I do know one that I dont like the all of a sudden holy shit there is boost feeling like you have with your high power 2Js etc.

mmmm

power on a turbo'd car should be directly proportional to engine rpm. untill the wastegate opens.

note 20g turbo dyno sheets dave has posted

Cameron.

All I gotta say about the pink car on the first page is that the surge tank/sheet metal intake mani thing looks like they need to re-do some welds...

And he needs to put a dump tube on his wastegate and route it out of the engine bay.

Safety first, folks. Don't burn through your high pressure power steering line and catch your car on fire like my buddy did on his STi because he routed his dump tube the wrong way.

There isnt enough room under the hood, and between the manifold and the front radiator support.

Plus it is FWD Traction > Sentra...

TQ Steer = Broken arm
