Pressing in poly bushings...

Anyone got any tips for pressing in poly bushings without a press? :) I've got a c-clamp but the bushings keep sliding sideways before they go all the way in... Someone said cut off the ridge on one end and it will slide in but I don't think I want to cut any of the bushing off...

Haha, hadn't thought of that. Not sure i could get them to go in streight like that tho. I've got them in the freezer now... Seeing if that helps at all...

they're all very similar. the ones i'm working on right now are the rear's but its the control arms which should be the same as the front...

Solved my problem. I bought a 10-ton hydrolic press :-D. The bushings slide in like... well, you know...
