I ordered an isis hydraulic handbrake, its an upright handbrake, and i noticed right where it will go is right between me and the shifter, if i remove the armrest and all can i move the handbrake around or would it be too much of a hassle?

You should be able to put it where ever you feel its comfortable but you just need to mount it in a solid place and run the proper lines. If im wrong please correct me.

i figured if the lines will reach and arent constricted in place i could move it to left of where the center ash tray would be and just weld or bolt it down. once i start a build thread ill cover it. i could live with it in the stock spot, but id rather it not be there. haha

google this dude, is mainly about how you want it since it is your car not someone elses. i would place it inside the dash were the radio would be like the parts by max s15 and ect

I"ll peak at it, if it seems like a bitch then ill just have it custom done and put right where I want it. I know that seems ridiculous, but for some good hand braking action, I'd say its well worth it.

You should have thought about this before you thought you needed a handbrake.

I'm mounting mine in front of the shifter close to the radio and Hvac area. I will have to make a custom mounting plate for it. If you look online though, all the hydraulic hand brakes are universal. It's not supposed to go anywhere. I just sat in the car and held it where it feels comfortable. Good luck

^ Good luck to you as well, that wouldnt be a bad spot either, that was the second place i was considering. Its all just deciding where i want everything before shredding the interior of the car. Ive kept the inside stock looking, till i get a couple of things done that will completely change the interior.
