q45 brake upgrade [Archive]

I got some q45 calipers and brackets from pull a part. The caliper bracket bolts are too big for the hole on the spindle. I was under the impression that they bolt right up. Apparently I was wrong. Can anyone shed light on this situation??

too big or too long? mine were too long so i had to put some washers behind them.

Mine needed washers, but that was it. Check the year you grabbed them from

apparently 97+ use larger diameter bolts. You can drill out the spindles to make it work. I seriously doubted that the q45 would be that recent being from pap and all. Meh.

97 doesn't bolt right up. 92-95 bolts up perfectly.
