will a blown headgasket fuck up my rings? lots of white smoke, and even coolant was coming out of my exhaust...does that mean i need rings now too?

Ive always been under the impression it can, but, when I put one on my old CRX, it ran fine. and before I did the HG, that bitch was smokin like a chimney on Xmas, haha.

Just don't run the car with the water in the oil, and it should be ok.
Regardless, even if its fucked, KA's are cheap, haha.

Honestly, Id just throw it together and see how it runs, ya know?
I mean, it could be completely fubared,, but it could run decently well. Besides, fixing a HG yourself is pretty cheap, just try it, and see what happens.

Good luck, JJ.

Lol, why would you pull the motor just to do a headgasket?

Yeah mang, no need to pull your engine for a head gasket. Just take off your hood if you need some more working room. Life is hard enough, don't make it worse. lol

just replace the motor with another kade.

in, out, done.

faster than making a sandbox.
and there is a reason why i am telling you this.
whatever you have thought off, i already thought of it and alot of it i have done.....
i know the costs and i know the time involved, and i know the risk.

so save a whale and replace it.

u r motor is done.
pull the damn thing out and fix it then sell it or sell as is. you get some money back and you have a running car asap.

Yes, you have to change the Dizzy, and I think the temp sensor, or whole intake manifolds, I cant remember

Pilot bearing tool from Autozone.
