REVIEW: Dual 6.5" $18.88

picked up 2 pairs of them at brandsmart for 18.88 a pair.

total = 40.03

holy amazing upgrade from stockkers.
i was recomended them by down_shift
he got some for his rears.
anyways, needless to say best 40 dollars ive ever spent on this car.

so for those of you on a budget still holding onto your rotting stockkers. just upgrade. 20 bucks a pair. definatly worth it.

pros - price, moderate sound quality, bass, high power handling capacity, loud,


cons- slightly muffled sounding, fixable with more bass + treble increase.

i dont have pics but lemme get the model number tonight.
they are decent speakers. moderate build quality. ive seen worse build quality from more expensive speakers. if youre cheap like me. 40 bucks will get you a good setup. but s13 has different rear speakers form what i understand.
so idk what youd get.

but as far as a head unit goes?
go name brand.
i recomend alpine.
ive had mine for pushing 3 years. and love it.
no glitches nothing wrong with it. spits the cd in and out fine. love it love it. imo cant beat alpine build quality

I got the Duals for my rear cause they were cheap as ass and had to be better than my dry rotted stockies. Apparenlty they are Jensens top line. I got a set of Infinity references for the front and they are killer. Can't say anything about the Duals because I never sit in the back.

kinda muffled noise tho. thats cuz i have the bass up though.
when i get a dedicated sub ill turn my head units bass back down and they will sound a good bit better
