if u have stock motor id suggest getting a clutch kit from autozone or napa. most have lifetime warrenty and they are pretty cheap. then u can drop the driveshaft and tranny and install it your self. dont forget to fill and bleed the clutch after installation.

Are you doing the labor yourself, or going to have someone do it?
PM me if you need it done.
Btw, you can order an Exedy oem replacement online for right around $110shipped.

reely, well Ive never done it before
but am mechanically skilled. If I had some directions and a lift it could be done easily by me.

Hell yeah, theres no way to learn but to do it.
a clutch isn't that bad to do on the ground, honestly, I've never got to do one on a lift. Just make sure you have the car as high as you can get it on the ground. All you really need to do a clutch in a KA is a 14, a 12, a 17, a 10 and a pry bar, half and drain pan. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask. I've done enough clutches, haha. for me its easier to pull the motor to do it, I'm not that strong upper body, but, its not that bad to do one just pulling the tranny either.

Btw, when you replace your gear oil, use Redline MT-90, I've used it in damned near every 5spd car I've ever had, and I swear by it in a Nissan, good shit.

Good luck with it man.

Bro, Im a bit drunk right now, haha.

But, for the most part, get the car in the air. Unbolt driveshaft, unbolt all bolts attaching tranny to motor, all are 14's and 12's IIRC, slide tranny off, take off old pressure plate, I believe they were 10 or 12mm bolts.

Pull all old shit, then remove flywheel, I think they were 17mm or 19mm bolts, go have it resurfaced, but, if it doesn't need it, then just scuff it up with sandpaper, and leave it on the motor. Now is also a good time to replace the rear main seal. Then basically, just alignment tool, put clutch disc to motor, then line up pressure plate, and torque the bolts down in a star pattern, evenly, atleast, thats my method and I've never had a clutch problem yet. Then lift the tranny, either with jacks, or just bench it up, line up input shaft through the clutch, slid to motor, start a couple of bellhousing bolts, and bam, reassemble.

Also, make sure you go ahead and do the throw out bearing while your in there, I skipped that when I put my clutch in my hatch, and now the shit is rattling to hell.

Like I said, just ask if you need a good walkthrough, its not that bad, like, once you get up in there, you will see what you have to do, I still remember doing my first one. Took me like, 2 days, but, I was so proud of myself, and I did it perfectly.
