simple. give him an offer of your best price you would be happy to buy the gun for and be done with it.

Not trying to take advantage of him.... I just dont see why he doesnt have an asking price. I have no clue how much the gun is worth. Last person to sell me a gun told me make a offer I did and he took the offer. But come to find out the offer I gave him was way more then what the gun was worth. Found it in a store for a lot cheaper. Im not going to give a price when the gun itself is not worth what I offer for.

this shows that the gun is worth that much to you when you paid for it.
its your end to find out how much its worth from a general standpoint.

and the price you paid and offered was in your head.

Yea im not traying to take advantage of nor be taken advantage of.. BTW I didnt buy the gun almost did.. Thats why im wanting to buy this one. Ive got a lil starter gun I play with but its old and needs replacing. I also don't want to play a guessing game here. I know some of these guns go for a lot of money some don't.
