Lost my bunch-of-keys and my s13 key happened to be on it, fml.

I want to re-key it because I don't want to have to switch out all the locks and whatnot.. anyone know how much it'd cost in a ballpark?

There is a code on the cylinder locks, that code can tell the dealer what cut of key you have. When I broke my key in the door of my car, I was told to give them my vin # and to get a code off of the cylinder locks in the doors, which would tell them what the dimensions were for the key to be able to cut one from scratch. But I didn't feel like taking the door panel off in 38 degree weather outside, so we just glued back together my other key and they cut a copy for me. From what i was told for S14's there were only three different kind of keys lol.

If nissan wasnt a bunch of fuckheads they would stop recycling the key numbers on the glovebox

My brother had it done in his driveway once. Cost for the guy to come out and cut two new keys was right around $125. Good luck with it man
