Alright I guess I'm finding myself posting this because I have 10 min to kill before class and was just thinking about it.

I'm not really sure about other people but for the past 4 years or so I've been having some pretty fucked up sleeping "habits", I guess you could call them. For the most part (maybe 4/7 nights) I can find myself going to bed, getting 4-7 hours sleep and feeling fine in the morning, lil bit groggy but w/e I wake up as the day goes on.

The other nights I will lay down to sleep and find myself staring at my ceiling or wall for 4-6 hours, completely awake... even though I only had normal sleep the night before and had a full day. I just can't sleep... I usually take 2 tylonal if I can't feel tired... more of as a habit from when I couldn't sleep at home my mom would give them to me (an I still find myself doing, not even sure if it helps or not). After these kinds of nights I go on with my day as normal and will start to feel the affects later in the next evening at 11pm-12am... Granted I will feel fine if I get to sleep that night (even if it is just for 4 or 5 hours) but there are occasions where this is happens on consecutive nights. I will lay in bed feeling tired or exhausted and no matter how much or long I close my eyes, I find myself rolling over and looking at the clock periodically.

Meh, right now I'm not quite sure what to do about it. I have a physical coming up in March so I'll probably ask my doctor.... I never really felt the need to ask before because during high school it wasn't as bad of an issue... it happened maybe twice a week and didn't affect my daily life nearly as much.

I kinda feel you about the sleep stuff... I work nights (9PM - 7AM) 4 days a week and then have 3 off so i switch around all the time and sometimes have trouble going to sleep. I've gotten pretty well adjusted to sleeping in the day time but sometimes its still hard...

I would ask my doctor if i were you.

i run 3 miles a day and get all sorts of weird rushes of energy throughout the day.. some nights, i'll find myself laying in bed for hours before I can zonk out. I have a pretty consistent sleeping schedule.. i dunno

ya ask a doctor...

The thing I have noticed with my sleep habits is that if I dont drink more than 1 or 2 cans of mountain dew or something else with caffine in it during the day I dont have an issue going to sleep, but if I sit there and drink like 4 or 6 cans of it during the day I cant sleep for shit and end up playing games or watching TV til like 6am. I have a werid work schedule kind of like flip's (3pm - 11:30pm), so I usually go to sleep at around 2am or 3am and try to wake up at about 10 or 11. If my sleep is all messed up I end up waking up at 1pm or so which is just enough time to get ready for work and get there on time. I try to exercise alil cas other wise I end up not be tired no matter what time i woke the day before. I will stay awake without getting tired for about 20 hrs...

Wouldnt life be so much easier and more fun if we didnt have to sleep...

I can never sleep for shit. I have been tring to get everything on track but I just cant sleep untill i am dead ass tired or i make myself pass out(smoke-pills)
I get weird burstes of energy around 12 or 1 o'clock at night and I want to clean stuff or work on my car or a friends car. I need to get this under control. I am also going to see a doctor about this....

Lately I've been trying to get myself down to 6 or 7 hours of sleep. It is usually enough but it makes it harder to wake up and get ready if i gotta get up quickly. After i get goin tho everything is good...

Got back in the gym today and that usually helps sleep patterns so we'll see...
