Hicas light???

A friend of mine just called me and told me his hicas light is on in his 240 does anyone know what is causing it? He said it has never been on before.

When that light came on in my friends car its stopped working. Its stopped working because he changed out the steering wheel and apparently you cant do that and keep the HICAS.:superman: But if he didn't do that you gotta remember these shit cage 240 are old as hell. There like lose vagina don't expect much from them because you will be disappointed.

" the hicas light will engage if you have been doin some highways driving ....... eg i went on a long trip and after travelling over 80km p/hour for more than 20 mins the light will come on . it just indicates that highway all wheel steer has been activated. it is not a warning light as warning lights are red, not orange. hope this helps you out !"

mines manual. and i think thats the light, it glows faint orange but i can't tell if it is or not.
