That's probably the harness for the defroster, wiper, and third brake light...

yeah dude, if any of those wires are cut, the ecu sends a warning message and wont start. its usually good for about 3-5 starts, but once you pass that mark, especially in this temperature, its going to lock up. You should definately find some way to re-connect those wires if you want to drive your car anywhere.

You're cruel. ;)
what are you trying to do, Andy?
Just an FYI, don't ever cut wires all at the same time. If you have to crimp/extend/splice something, do it one wire at a time. Never all at once!!!! I speak from experience.

damn andy, you should have asked us sooner if you should cut the wires
hopefully by you cutting the wires you didnt burn out your ECU, that would be terrible.
heres how to check, unscrew all the screws in your center console, and take it off, underneath it should be a metal box, bigger than a deck of cards, but smaller than a whale. if its turned a goldish hue, kind of like copper, you just burnt out your ecu.
i have one for sale for $300 obo if you need a new one. get back to me homie, and good luck!
