From looking at my front wheels it seems that my front left wheel has a good bit of negative camber and my front right wheel is nearly at 0. Any idea what causes this?

From what i've read there is no way to adjust your front cabler without camber plates. I'm just wondering what would cause it to go so far out of wack. I didn't hit anything solid, just done a little drifting...

Only thing that comes to mind is maybe one of the bushings is completely shreaded?

theres small camber bolts you can buy to adjust the front camber by small amounts.. they are kinda oval in shape. too lazy to search right now.... sry lol.

I should be getting full coilovers shortly and they have camber plates so that should do the trick but I don't think the numbers should be that different all of the sudden...

camber plates dont do enough... at least if you are as low as i am. i had to gets ingalls 2# eccentric bolts from the front strus to get it right

erm iirc eccentric bolts only help out by 1-2 degrees max. where as camber plates on my car have pushed it as far as -4 degrees. Those bolts iirc are simply to adjust camber back to the stock setting.

so the bolts would go in the bottom of the strutt? Maybe my bushing in the bottom of the strut is bad... They look kinda twisted...

my camber plates are out all the way and i still had mad tire wear..

if you only needed one set they would go in the upper bolts... if you needed more than 2* youd would buy two sets and put them in the upper and lower

Wait, upper and lower what? camber plates are on top and the only place for actual bolts would be in the bottom of the strut...

And one set of what?? confuzed...

Also what do you think about JIC coilovers?

camber plates are for coilovers and connect where the top of the strut connects to the chassis.

hes talking about eccentric bolts which go through where the upper front control arm connects to the strut iirc. If you need more than 2* he's saying get 2 eccentric bolts, one for the upper control arm > strut and one for lower control arm > strut.

i think.... ><

but the strut only connects via one bolt on the bottom. I know how the camber plates work on top...

Ahhhhhh makes perfect sense now. I was thinking of the rears which just connect with one bolt and have a bushing through the bottom. Been working on the rear a lot lately LOL.

nah, rears you have to use Adjustable RUCAS to control camber. Lol its a bitch, i ran -5.5* in the rear for 6 months before i got rucas >< lmao

Haha. I believe it is adjustable in the rear a little bit. The FSM says so atleast.

yeah but not to the extent i needed lol. iirc the rears already have something like an eccentric bolt in them (in the connection for the stock ruca iirc)

So where can i find a set of decent camber bolts? And what brand?

first off camber does not cause tire wear, toe cause tire wear. you don't need camber bolt you can just enlarge the bottom bole and loosen and adjust with a screw driver. camber plates work with both coilovers and shocks. and if you have to use camber bolts with your coilovers you bought cheap coilovers.

Right, camber does not really cause tire wear, just uneven tire wear.

I think when i looked at my front wheels they were sitting funny. The camber looked really close today and I'm starting to believe i have a bit of toe in on one side. That side looks to be wearing quite quickly so that would make sense...

your camber will look different if the car is not setting on level ground.

It was on level ground but i think the rear toe had an effect on the front sitting the way it did when i was looking at it...
