So yea, I installed some 314mm rotors on my car today but I think I need slightly larger rotors, prolly 324's or 330's...either way they look really good and fill up my rims...not to mention the uber stopping power I'm going to have / need.

I forgot to mention that I accomplished this for less than $80 :ddirtyd:

oh and even though the ones I have now are just 314mm...it is PLENTY of stopping power...I cannot imagine anything else much larger than 330's as I feel it would be seriously over kill.

What do you have on your car bracket wise and what rotor did you use? I'll be getting a G35 324mm tomorrow.

lol...for less that $100 I'm not complaining. :toung2:

I will likely want something nicer looking eventually and I'll throw a 6 pot kit together for my car for less than 1k.

For the 12.75 what brackets did you use/where did you get yours from? Interested in doing the same setup, but both people I talked to hated who they got there brackets from as they had to do some modifications to bolt them up....

rotor size has nothing to do with stopping. caliper size has nothing to do with stopping power. the only thing that matters for that is pad friction coefficient and tires available grip.

rotor size can help heat dissipation and absorption which helps for repeated stops. caliper size and fixed vs sliding calipers helps with pedal feel.

Which is why I don't mind the fact that my pads throw up massive amounts of dust...it lets me know they're working haha. I've got 13" rotors up front, and I've never locked 'em down, and that's thanks to my tires. ;)
