Well just about half an hour ago (8:30pm 3/6/11) my parents Suzuki XL7 was almost stolen.
A dark blue, or black Dodge Dakota truck passed by my house, scoping it out very slowly. I recognized the trucks sound from before, and i went up to my window to look what it was. Saw the car pass by my house, then i saw them coming back very slowly. I was still looking out the window with my lights on at this point. Saw a male get out of the passenger side and quickly try making its way towards my drive way. When he looked up he saw me starring and then quickly turned around and went back to get in the truck and they drove off.
The truck is pretty loud, typical exhaust that can be heard inside your house even at low RPM's. Cops were called, and of course it was reported.
The person who got out was a young male, around the age of 20-24. Was light skinned, so either Caucasian or Hispanic. Be on the look out people that live around the Lawrenceville/Buford/Mall of GA area. It's not the first time this happens. The same truck has attempted this before, only to make the alarm go off.
