View Full Version : VB 4 Upgrade Bugs & Problems - Report Them Here!
If you see any problems please report them here. There's bound to be something I missed so we'll just tackle them as they come about.
Keep in mind I'm aware a lot of the old functions like double post merge etc... aren't back yet. I'll be working on those a little at a time.
Clicking on the homepage does nothing. All i've found so far.
Like this version a lot better though, thanks flip!

not sure if this should be here or not. but can the site navigation be fix?
when you click on the 240atlanta banner it should be going to http://240atlanta.com/
instead its going to http://240atlanta.com/forums/index.php

Hey flip, i know this was happening even with the old forum, but can you update the time so it show the current one when we post stuff? or is that something we each have to do somewhere?

Yeah working on that one... Everyone hides that var in different places in their theme. Trying not to hack this one up by doing it the easy way... lol

Yeah it is lol.

you can fix that by going into your usercp and going down to edit options:

just scroll to your timezone down on the bottom

anyway to have the subforum link to the right of new threads/posts like the old one? I really liked that

On The front section, the newer post. Instead of ratings, can we have what section of the forum its on. Ie. off topic, parts for sale etc.

I don't think it's a bug, it may just be how vb4 is set up. All of the recently posted in threads on the homepage don't show what section of the forum they are posted in. I use the family computer and I don't want to click on a sponsor lounge thread with an obscure title.

Is it just me or does the new search function suck?
I run a search for posts by a particular user and the results are incomplete and out of order by date. Am I doing something wrong?
EDIT: Never mind, I am an idiot. I used the wrong tab.

I keep getting overlayed text on the sides, particularly in the top frame. I refresh and it goes away...
Havent noticed it at home, just at work with our BALLER 15" screens. I figure Breeze 'fixed' would have fixed it though?

Breeze [fixed] is not the one you want to go for. Go for the regular one.

Every text is in bold and it's really not easy for me to read everything.

Go to your settings or the homepage. The thread title, author and everything else is in bold when originally just the title of the thread was bold.
Yeah everything is bold for me too. Even on the threads that I read. You know how before if the thread had something new that you didn't read it would be in bold. Well yeah everything is in bold now. And also I agree with the homepage having what section everything is under like the old version.

Seems like things keep changing for me.
The banner is switching between 240atlanta.com and forums/index.php
I have not found the pattern. Just keeps changing on me the last few days.
Also, the page size seems to change.
The forum page is fine, but the main page is not.
The main page goes from normal, to huge, where I have to scroll FAR to the right to see the rest of it.
That has also changed a few times in the last few days.
Try clearing your cache.

Also yeah, I notice the bold thing too. Too difficult for me to change quickly but I'll look into it.
