Any input on what to look for when selecting a good set of coilovers? Right now my 240 has suspension and springs but its really not very low at all and isn't stiff at all.

Thinkin JIC's or teins.

well the most important part are materials and overall construction... tolerances and materials are kinda hard to eye... cheap materials and shitty tolerances lead to an overall shitty coilover.
also, piston diameter and valving all affect a coilover

do some research on spring rates, cause ulitmetely thats what it comes down to.

Im not up on drifting specs, but youll want to find out what spring rates people are running. Shock valving is important, because you need a wide range of motion of adjustment imo.

i would PM hipsi on importatlanta, or tell him to come over here an look at this thread. he prob knows way more than most of us

MSGing hipsi now... Thanks.

I'd like to get something really good but right now I need to stretch my $ to have the car ready for the season. I simply can't deal with the suspension thats on the car right now so I might settle for some tein basics for 6 months or aso until after the swap is complete.

grab some springs and shocks to hold you over.

I've already got kyb's and eibach's but theyre not stiff enough... They have a nice ride but I want it to feel like a go-cart...

When I purchased coilovers... It was between Stance GR+ pros (they come with 2 sets of springs to configure your spring rates however you like).

Or the Tein Super Drifts. They are both about the same price, And I chose The Teins from the reputation, and from Enjuku Racings reccomendation.

They dont bounce as much as the Eibachs, but they def are stiff. I havent messed with the dampning yet.

1300-1400$ is probobly the ballpark you could find em for

i got footwerks and megans..
they ride pretty nice..
cant imagine them blowing out anytime soon :)

nice firm ride, w.o much bounciness.. as it should be with a new coilover setup.
