hello. just joined up here after a friend told me about this site. nice to have a dedicated atlanta 240 site. bought my first 240 over a year ago and have begun upgrading here and there as i go. guess its redundant to say i drift it too.

any event is a great place to start. practice days give you more seat time, but my first event was a judged event, so just go out and have fun. you wont regret it.

i dont work for CartoonNetwork.....i work on jobs for them. basically my paychecks come from turner broadcasting. i work for turner studios in the ink and paint department. the animators i work for get lots of CN stuff and thank god they like me.....( or else i wouldnt have a job ).....and give me cool stuff now and again. i love turner studios.

As for drifting, I have drifted it quite a few times but never at an event... In my mind it's not really ready for it yet tho. I've had little problems most of the time i've had it. I keep breaking things :). Mostly just bushings... It should be ready to day tho when i get the diff fixed (replacing funky v-lsd with welded).

Oh also, there arent many practice events so I'm in the process of setting up a few events for this year. I could use some help from our members so I'll be posting about it soon... :)

i heart techwood campus. close to lots of food. finally theres enough parking again. it feels like college all over again. i work in the building closest to the new garage on the 4th floor. where are you stationed?

more local events would be great. post up once you got more details.

ya i suck at transferring..........:( was it drift fury 3 or 4? or the Drift411 greenville event. if it was drift fury then it must have been either at the top of the big sweeper or the spot between corners 1 and 2. if it was the greenville event...i basically shouldnt have been allowed to drive that day i was so terrible.

the suby is my baby. i spent alot of time researching things before making a decision as to which route to take the GC. the nissan is something for me to throw parts at and have a blast driving without being paranoid about anything going wrong. i love both my cars.....but i definitely treat the suby better.
