I have a feeling my sr has a boost leak. After finally getting it installed last weekend, I took it for a test drive and at about 5k in 3rd gear, the car completely fell on it's face.

No popping, no studdering, no backfires. Just a complete lose of power.

So here is the question. How to check for boost leaks, short of going to homedepot and getting caps and pressurizing the system, and spraying it down with soapy water for leaks.

I was also thinking about wrapping the couplers with serain wrap to see if it makes a difference.

Maybe try something like this:

You would have to make changes to it to make it work with your car but it could be a start...

That is what I was wondering. How would seafoam coming out my exhaust make me notice a boost leak in my intercooler piping
