Ok, well here's the scenario, I'm in the market for another 240 since my ex caused me to crash mine. I just got enough to buy another one but it's not enough to get an S14 like my last one(that's where my heart is), only enough for an S13. I would still like to drive a Nissan, I mean I don't dislike other companies but it's just sort of my preference. So do you guys think I should buy a S13 coupe and trade later on for a S14, wait until I have enough for a S14 around 3.5, finance with a willing seller of a S14 or buy something "sensible" like a Maxima, Altima, or Sentra B14.*not much of a fan of FWD anymore*
Give me a little feedback guys. Thanks.:goodjob:

How much cash do you have now? Thats a factor if you should wait and get an S14, or just buy now.

depends on how much money you have and how long it would take you to get more. If you can get enough to buy an S14 in a month, just be patient.
Or be supa fly and buy an S12 for $275 :goodjob:

stock s13 is still more fun.
and parts are a pain to find,
since these older cars do have wear and tear.
and the mini is fwd.
my stock s13 is way more fun than the new mini.
shift lock is awesome!
thats me , wooo!

I've got about 2.3k to spend and I wont be getting more moneys seeing as a car is my main mode to get to work here in AL. Tuskegee is like 15-40 miles, Auburn & Montgomery respectively, away from anyplace that pays well enough for me.

that thing is wiggidty whack!
I'd say get a Maxima. B14's are fun, and easy as hell to work on, I put a clutch in one a couple of weeks ago, and got out to drive it around, and it was a fun little car, and I love the interiors. For a nice car to drive everyday, I would recommend a Maxima. But then again, I've always had a love for Maxima's, the 89-94's are a great car, but I see alot of them with transmission problems. The 95+ are all around great, seems like everyone I know has had one at some time or another. My mom had a 95 and a 96, and never had an issue with either, James (Maxima278) on here has a 90, and its pretty slick. josh (Badass240) used to have a 93 model, and it rode like a Cadillac, literally.
It really all depends on what you want out of a car. If you want a project/something to fuck off in, I'd just go or an S13, cheap, decently reliable, and lots of options. But if it were just going to be something to drive everyday, I would say a Maxima.
I can't tell you though, I had a ragged out POS S14 2 years ago, and I miss it everyday, and would kill for another one. But right now, my hatch is just about as fun as it was, and I got it for a whole lot less.
So, bottom line. Decide what you will use it most for. 4dr for daily is always better than 2, but RWD is always more fun than FWD.
On a sidenote, how did your Ex cause you to crash?

uhh-- all the s13's ive looked at cost WAY more than i paid for my s14. (which was in better shape when i first got it lol)
I suggest you wait and look around. my 95 cost 2k.... 114 k miles. the only thing that was wrong with it at the time was the front bumper was flaking. the only other problem ive had with it was brake repair (but they tore up because i did something stupid...)
its possible to find decent deals, just sit tight for a little while.

Was she sucking a little too hard lol
No but by the time you're able to trade a S13 for a S14 the amount of money that you would put into the S13 would of been enough to buy a S14 + some more
