it's like import showdown but better, there's actually a bewby contest, i think there's a mixed martial art contest. there's a show car contest, it's actually a lot like nopi and import showdown combined but better cause it's 1/4 mile and it's on a good track and i believe there is also a drift exhibition and some other shit. seriously it should be loads of fun and it's not that far. driving from marietta to Silver dollar is far as hell, i don't think it's that far.

i had turned it up to 13 but then i turned it back down to stock ~10 to avoid those issues. i was just trying to get a timeslip before i go single but it's not accurate at all b/c of traction.

THEY INSPECTED THE MAN'S CAR. if it wasn't allowed in any of the classes then they shouldn't have signed him up in the category he was in or any category. then he would've just test and tuned. but fuck yeah that shit's just wrong. they let the man beat the hell out of his car, just long enough for him to see the 1st place dangling in front of his face, then give him the big shaft, wtf. it's not like he passed tech with a muffler then took it off, or switched tires or whatever. the same shit he passed tech inspection with is the same shit he was running with. and seriously....IT'S A FUCKIN MUFFLER. it wasn't straight down pipe #1, he had exhaust all the way back....and #2......wtf is a muffler gonna do except tone the sound. i just left mainstream, i been talking to dave bout it =[

from another source he said that they said dave was leaking fluid on the track so that's why they kicked him out. he said "it was legit" NO BODY said anything about fluid, he said they announced that he was leaking fluid. so the officials couldn't even get their lies straight.....gah!!! that's just gay.....

I heard someone there say they DQ'd him because he had slicks and it was a drag radials only class.. I could be wrong though. And I don't believe he would have won his class anyways. the Z32 in the final race ran a 9.80 or very close to that. I seen his truck go mid 10's with a decent pass so it would have been hard to pull a 9.80 or better. I am in no way talking crap about his truck, I don't even know his set up or even if he was spraying when he ran the mid 10. All I know is that truck is sick and they should have let him race. Also dave what clutch are you using?

he was on no spray, granny shifting into 2nd, and 3rd and 4th was spinning clutch, that's why his mid 10 mph was so low haha. i just heard from someone else that it was the tires. i heard half the other people competing were running slicks too, but no one said anything to them cause their stuff broke. i dunno man, i don't think dave would've gotten that mad if it was a legit reason. i heard it was gettin krunk over there for a second hahaha anywho, i wasn't there.....

i'm running an OS Geiken super single 6 puck unsprung clutch/flywheel. it's almost completely impossible to slip when trying to launch a drag car.....lol......however i'm pretty confident that shit wouldn't slip a hair /w 600rwhp. it's not the greatest in rush hour...but it does what it's designed to do....grab like a mofo :D

i don't know what to say about the whole turbo dave situation but i believe that if everybody had done their job right it wouldn't have come to this and that fault should land squarely on the shoulders of the track officials.

they announced it was fluids but told him it was his exhaust and tires, and as others stated everybody else was running slicks too. it reeks of BS.
